How can I actually use agentic AI during an ISO 26262 development project?

Put the agent inside the project's existing authority structure: bound its task and inputs, classify the workflow, retain provenance, keep acceptance criteria and safety decisions outside it, and route every influenced safety work product through named verification.

Can AI provide independent verification evidence under ISO 26262?

AI can generate verification artefacts and useful findings, but a second model does not establish independence. The argument depends on independent sources, oracles, responsibility, retained evidence and acceptance authority around the AI activity.
